Career bucket list
What if you could create a career bucket list to make your work more interesting and meaningful? What would your career bucket list look like? Would it feature exciting projects? Perhaps, it involves exploring unconventional ideas, and working with a diverse group of people. A career bucket list allows you to focus on meaning, mastery, and autonomy – free from fear of failure or the pressure to climb ladders, and impress others.
“Careers are not ladders to climb; they are jungle gyms to explore.” – Sheryl Sandberg
Self-talk strategy
Self-talk is what you tell yourself and how you feel when you hear your own words. Positive self-talk becomes easy when you feel good about yourself. So, talk to yourself more when you are feeling confident and content, and be more silent within and self-observant when you are feeling low. Your self-talk shapes your destiny.
“Self-talk is the most powerful form of communication because it either empowers you or it defeats you.” – Shad Helmstetter
Feminine leadership
As a guest speaker at an International Women’s Day event, I shared my perspective on embracing feminine leadership. Initially, many in the audience assumed I would focus on advocating for the acceptance of women in leadership roles. However, they soon realized that my message was about embracing femininity itself. I urged them to give up control, competition, and hierarchy, and instead, to foster autonomy, trust, collaboration, and shared leadership. This approach empowers the team and liberates the leader.
“The eternal feminine draws us on high” – Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
